Earth Day Celebration

On Earth Day, Southwind did a trail maintenance project at the Satterthwaite Wildlife Refuge near Udall, Kansas.  Wildflowers were identified and lunch was provided by Frank Akerman.  A few hot dogs were burned for the good of the group.  Southwind then visited the Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine, Kansas to identify a few domesticated flowers, trees and to absorb some music and art.  Thanks to the participants that attended the celebration, Neil Marcus, Karin Cowdrey, Bobbie Hulbert, Frank Akerman, Aiko Allen, Bobbie Keltner, Yvonne Cather and Bill Cather.
