The Complaint
1) The Seaboard Foods Ladder Creek hog feeding complex in Greeley County will hold up to 132,000 mature hogs when completed. Seaboard has filed
an application to expand that number by 50%.2) The reason for a minimum biological treatment level (10 feet) is to dilute the raw waste so it breaks down better, and odor is reduced.3) The “lagoons” are 20 feet deep, so the depth of water is 20 feet minus the number viewed at the water’s edge.  The intermediate mark donotes one-half foot.
