Massive Flint Hills Burn on April 11

On Tuesday, April 11, Flint Hills landowners launched the most extensive day of grassland burning that I can recall. With a moderate south wind holding the plume together, officials in Lincoln, Nebraska, had to keep their school kids inside the morning of the next day. We will issue a full report next month.
