Dr. Ray Pierotti:  “Passive but not Aggressive: How Climate Change can Lead to Extinction.”
The final presentation in our year-long series of lectures and films on the climate crises will be by Dr. Raymond Pierotti, Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Kansas. Sponsored by Sierra Club-Wakarusa Group and Lawrence Ecology Teams United in Sustainability.  Dr. Pierotti will concentrate on how climate change is a very passive form of habitat destruction for many species, especially those species that depend upon ice as a major component of their habitats.
